A fitted 100% cotton T-shirt featuring extensive hand-distressing throughout the garment. Layers of frayed fabric, exposed openings, and raw edges create a sculptural, textured surface that transforms a basic T-shirt into a statement piece.

Designed to evolve with wear, the distressing may continue to fray and shift over time. These changes are an intentional part of the design, allowing the garment to develop its own character and become increasingly unique to its wearer.

Each piece is individually distressed by hand by Brontë, meaning no two garments are exactly alike.

How it's made / curated

Each T-shirt begins as a 100% cotton garment sourced in small quantities. Working with limited stock allows Brontë to create small runs rather than mass-produced pieces.

In her Amsterdam atelier, every garment is individually distressed by hand. Sections of fabric are carefully cut, frayed, and manipulated to create layers of texture, openings, and raw edges across the garment.

The distressing is designed to continue evolving through wear. Fraying, movement, and changes in the fabric are expected and form part of the garment’s lifecycle.

Because each piece is made by hand, the placement and appearance of the distressing will vary, making every T-shirt one of a kind.
