Handmade micro shorts featuring a fold-over waistband and a flattering fitted silhouette. Crafted from soft deadstock cotton jersey, they combine comfort with a rebellious edge. The print layers ironic imagery with concealed phrases, including “fuck” and “I confess I must be medicated,” inviting a closer look. As every pair is painted by hand, slight variations in the artwork make each piece uniquely its own.

How it's made / curated

Each piece is handmade by Brontë in her atelier in Amsterdam. Every pair of shorts is individually crafted, ensuring attention to detail throughout the process.

The shorts are created from carefully selected fabric and transformed by hand through a combination of stencil work and freehand painting. This layered approach gives each garment its own character and artistic finish.

Because the artwork is applied by hand, no two pieces are exactly alike. Small variations in paint placement, texture, and detail make every pair unique.

From construction to the final brushstroke, the entire process is completed by a single maker, resulting in a one-of-a-kind garment produced in small quantities.

Size

Crafted from soft, stretchy cotton jersey, these shorts are designed to move with the body and flatter a variety of shapes. The flexible fabric provides a comfortable fit without feeling restrictive.

Model is 1.83m tall with a 73 cm waist and 100cm hips, wearing size Medium.
