Pray for Me Tie - White

Each tie begins as a thrifted necktie sourced by Brontë and selected for its structure and potential for transformation. By repurposing existing accessories, each piece is given a second life.

In her Amsterdam atelier, the original tie is covered with cotton jersey before the graphics are applied by hand using a combination of stencil and hand-painting techniques. Layers of script, crosses, and other graphic elements are built up across the surface.

Contrasting lace is then added over sections of the print, while metal details, including a chain and fleur-de-lis embellishment, are attached by hand as finishing touches.

Because every tie is individually reworked by hand, slight variations in print placement, lace application, and hardware details are a natural part of the process.

• The ties are each thrifted, so they may alter a lil bit in length and width
• Styling note: The layered construction makes this tie thicker than a standard necktie, so traditional knots may require some experimentation. Beyond being worn as a tie, it can also be styled as a belt, scarf, bag charm, or layered accessory, allowing for multiple ways of wear.
