Somewhere in Between is an original painting as part of her ongoing series Fleeting Moments, which explores expression and stillness through gesture.

A figure stands with hand on hip, gaze turned away, poised in a moment between states. Not demanding to be seen, but fully aware of presence. Not in motion, but not still. The gesture exists as a contemplative, knowing, at ease with the space between assertion and withdrawal. In this in-between-ness, presence speaks quietly but firmly.

How it's made / curated

This original work is part of an earlier series of work, ‘Fleeting moments’, developed from her studio practice in Rotterdam. The work emerges through intuitive painting grounded in close object study and photographing, translating that looking into form, colour, and curve.
