Anthill Antlers is an original 1-of-1 inspired by witnessing Accra’s intricate anthills structures built by ants and termites from city’s terra cotta soil. Two bushback deers move through that landscape as a recognition of universal intelligence expressed in their forms. This same intelligence moves through human adornment: in how we mark and ornament the body, in how we celebrate presence. What echoes from within is access to something larger, an intelligence that flows through nature translating through the ways in which we adorn ourselves.

How it's made / curated

This original artwork is part of her ongoing series Echoes from Within, developed from her studio practice in Rotterdam. The work emerges through intuitive painting grounded in close object study and photographing, translating that looking into form, colour, and curve. What begins as memory and presence becomes visible through the act of painting itself.
