With its soft silhouette and flared rim, the Light Bellied Vase can become a beautifully calm and elegant piece within your space. It’s wheel-thrown by hand and has subtle curves to create a balanced, timeless form. The piece is glazed in a soft grey, with subtle notes of pink bringing variation to the surface.

Beautiful as a standalone decorative object or styled with a few stems, the Light Bellied Vase adds warmth and sophistication to a shelf, table, or windowsill.

How it's made / curated

Bira is the work of Danique de Bies, an Amsterdam-based Art Director and ceramicist. Her work focuses on timeless, elegant pieces that add warmth and character to your interior, always approached with careful curation. Bira Ceramics offers enduring objects designed to make your space feel inviting.

Every item is handmade on the wheel and can therefore have slight imperfections. This is what makes the pieces truly unique.
