Defined by an elegant silhouette and wide flared rim, the Flared Vase is designed to make an impression in your home. The gently tapered body flows into a broad opening, creating a form that beautifully supports both simple stems and fuller arrangements.

Hand-thrown in stoneware and finished in a rich chestnut glaze that’s been brushed on by hand, the surface reveals subtle variations of deep brown, amber, and warm earthy tones. The interplay of glaze emphasizes the curves and sharp edges of the Flared Vase, giving it a sense of depth and movement.

Styled with fresh flowers or displayed on its own, the Flared Vase brings warmth, character, and a timeless presence to any interior.

How it's made / curated

Bira is the work of Danique de Bies, an Amsterdam-based Art Director and ceramicist. Her work focuses on timeless, elegant pieces that add warmth and character to your interior, always approached with careful curation. Bira Ceramics offers enduring objects designed to make your space feel inviting.

Every item is handmade on the wheel and can therefore have slight imperfections. This is what makes the pieces truly unique.
