This all purpose pouch is hand embroidered by women in Occupied Palestine. The design is inspired by the tatreez motifs from Gaza and features a traditional saya fabric backing.

How it's made / curated

This hand stitching work is done by Manjel Ma’qoud, a group created in December of 2023 in response to the desperate economic situation imposed on Occupied Palestine. In 2024 it provided income generation to more than 80 women.
