This piece was proudly handcrafted by our women’s groups in the West Bank. After stitching the intricate symbols in their homes, the shirts are finalized at a dedicated workshop in Bethlehem, where the phrase “One Day A Gate Will Open” is carefully embroidered in both Arabic and English, bringing the shirt to its final form.

The Land & the Divine Collection draws its inspiration from the visual languages of Palestinian and Afghan textile traditions. These pieces explore how women preserve their culture through thread, even in the face of displacement and loss.

Across generations and geographies, similar motifs emerge: symbols of protection, identity, and devotion, stitched into garments and woven into everyday life. From the embroidered dresses of Palestine to the intricate textiles of Afghanistan, these patterns reflect a shared spiritual and cultural vocabulary, one that honors the land and the unseen forces that sustain it.
