The ‘Selene Necklace’ is an ode to moonlight and the ocean’s quiet rituals, inspired by the lunar pull that guides the tides. Crafted with a fluid stainless-steel chain, plated in gold or silver, the design is anchored by two celestial elements: a luminous mother-of-pearl circle and a bold scaramazza pearl personally sourced in Sardinia.

When the two ends meet, pearl and circle unite to close the necklace — a gentle, intentional gesture that echoes the meeting of moon and sea. The adjustable length allows Selene to rest wherever it feels most natural, while offering a versatile styling option: worn with a backless top, the pearl can be left to softly dangle down the back, catching the light with every movement. Minimal yet symbolic, this piece embodies balance, femininity, and the quiet power of lunar energy.

Each necklace is one-of-a-kind, and variations in look and shape from the image are to be expected.

How it's made / curated

Inspired by nature, the ocean, and travels around the world, every Laguna piece is designed and handmade in Amsterdam by founder and jewellery artist Liv List.

Each piece is created using carefully and personally sourced materials, including pearls and beads collected throughout her travels and along the coast of Sardinia, where Liv’s mother helps source many of the materials. Some beads are also upcycled, giving existing materials a new life.

Crafted in small batches, Laguna celebrates simplicity, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a deep connection to the sea.

Made to order in the creator’s studio. Production takes between 1–6 weeks. Within 48 hours of purchase, you’ll receive an email with your estimated shipping date.

As this item is made especially for you, it is exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal.

If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact the seller within 14 days of delivery. The seller will work with you to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
