Studio Marigold is a vintage homeware brand, presenting objects sourced across Europe: Italian ceramics, Murano glass, silver-plated tableware and mid-century finds. The focus is on timeless pieces with personality, ready for a second life.
Her story
Studio Marigold was founded by Marleen van Beers in Oirschot in 2021. What started as a casual clear-out sale — selling pieces from her own collection on Instagram — accidentally turned into something bigger. Friends asked for more. Then strangers did too.
Marleen has always been drawn to objects with personality: pieces that feel a little unexpected and worth keeping around. Not trend-driven, but timeless. The belief that there are enough beautiful things in the world, ready for a second life, sits at the heart of the brand. Today that belief takes her across Europe, sourcing vintage interior objects with character. The goal is simple: helping people create homes that feel personal, warm, and a bit playful.
"I only buy things I'd genuinely want in my own home. That's always been the filter."
Curation
Every piece is personally selected by Marleen, with a focus on pre-loved homeware that carries character. The collection includes Italian ceramics, Murano glass, silver-plated serveware, vintage lamps, and mid-century design pieces — sourced during buying trips across Europe, at flea markets, secondhand stores, and private clearances. Each item is carefully inspected, honestly described, and photographed in a way that shows how it might actually live in your home.
"My goal is simple: help people create homes that feel personal, warm and a bit playful."
Sustainability
Sustainability sits at the core of Studio Marigold — not as a label, but as a natural consequence. Every piece is pre-owned, given a second life as a response to overproduction. Sourcing stays intentional rather than bulk-driven, and packaging is kept low-waste through repurposed boxes and newspapers saved by friends and family.
Highlights
In 2023, Studio Marigold was part of a Reliving x De Bijenkorf pop-up in Rotterdam, bringing vintage homeware to the Netherlands’ most iconic department store.
Marleen is also the co-founder of Tweedehands het Festival in Tilburg, a secondhand festival built around the same values as Studio Marigold: quality finds, conscious choices and a good time.
