Liquid Universe was founded in 2023 by Xiaoyu Lyu and Shuxi Wang, inspired by Mono-Ha modern art and the raw beauty of natural materials, such as freshwater pearls and gemstones. They design jewelry they would genuinely want to wear themselves — pieces that feel modern, are crafted from high-quality materials, and remain accessible in price. Xiaoyu and Shuxi are involved in every aspect of the brand, from design and sourcing to styling and photography.

Each collection brings together pearls, gemstones, silver, and other metals in timeless yet playful compositions, designed to be worn both in everyday life and on meaningful occasions. Liquid Universe intentionally remains a small studio, which allows them to carefully safeguard the quality, character, and craftsmanship behind every piece.
