BAMBAM is a jewelry and accessories brand based in Amsterdam. Inspired by the sea and Mediterranean warmth, each piece is designed to feel playful and bold, and to be mixed and stacked for any occasion.
Her story
In 2024, Soleil Anna Gutlich started making jewelry at her kitchen table in Amsterdam as a hobby. No grand plan, no business strategy—until friends began asking where she got her earrings from. From there, her idea evolved into a business, and since launching, BAMBAM has grown into a brand offering a full range of earrings, rings, necklaces, and crochet hats.
The name is inspired by her little sister’s childhood nickname. It captures the essence of the brand: sisterhood, and the kind of bond where joy multiplies when shared. BAMBAM designs pieces to be noticed, complimented, and passed between friends. Soleil aims to keep building the community while preserving that original kitchen-table spirit.
“Amsterdam can be a city of solo cyclists and quiet cafés, and BAMBAM is a small rebellion against that — pieces designed to be noticed, complimented, and passed between friends.”
Craftsmanship
BAMBAM presents earrings, rings, and necklaces in gold and silver tones, all handmade by Soleil herself. Statement hoops and sea-inspired shapes—shells, waves, and sunbursts—form the signature look. Materials vary, with most pieces made from gold-plated and brass components.
Designing and making in-house means every detail receives close attention, and small adjustments can be made along the way without rushing the process to scale. BAMBAM jewelry is designed to be mixed and stacked, and built for real life: beach days, festivals, weddings, late-night dinners, and everyday moments.
"BAMBAM is jewelry that doesn't take itself too seriously, with statement hoops and sea-inspired shapes (shells, waves, sunbursts) forming the signature look."
Sustainability
Sustainability is an ongoing process for BAMBAM. As every pair of earrings is handmade by Soleil, one at a time, production stays close to home. Collections are released in limited drops, ensuring no overproduction. Soleil selects materials piece by piece and opts for recyclable, minimal packaging to further reduce waste. Looking ahead, the focus is on improving material sourcing and exploring repair options to extend longevity.
