ZIGGY creates handmade jewelry inspired by the freedom, spontaneity, and joy that travel can bring. Crafted in silver and copper tones, each hand-shaped piece feels personal and unique rather than mass-produced.
Their story
Amsterdam-based jewelry brand, ZIGGY, was founded by Julia van Delft and Sophie Manuhutu in 2025. The two friends met by chance in Mexico, where they bonded over their shared love of jewelry. Back in Amsterdam, they wanted to capture the joyful energy and sense of freedom they experienced while travelling and translate it into something tangible, which ultimately became the foundation of ZIGGY.
The name ZIGGY means “peace”, a value they believe the world could use a little more of. Through their jewelry, they hope to remind people that true beauty comes from a kind heart.

Craftsmanship
Every ZIGGY piece is designed and handmade by Julia and Sophie, either in small batches or made to order. The collection is created using different materials, each chosen for a specific purpose: brass (with a protective coating), which they love for the golden tone it develops over time; aluminium, which is lightweight, silver-like, and water-resistant, making it ideal for everyday wear; and 925 sterling silver, valued for its quality and durability.

Sustainability
Working on a small scale allows them to produce intentionally, avoiding overproduction and sourcing materials only as needed. Their materials are sourced within the Netherlands, helping to keep their footprint small while supporting local suppliers. Above all, their jewelry is made to last, ensuring each piece can be worn and loved for years to come.
